Bob Moog Foundation Raffle Offers Vintage Minimoog Signed by Peter Gabriel
Post date:
It’s that time of year again when vintage synthesizer enthusiasts can support a good cause while standing a chance to win a one-of-a-kind prize. The Bob Moog Foundation announced its fall fundraising raffle, and as always, the prize is something truly remarkable. A fully restored vintage Minimoog signed by the legendary Peter Gabriel is up for grabs. Peter inscribed “To the Bob Moog Foundation. Hello. Love, Peter Gabriel, 04-09-2024” on the back of the Minimoog.
While Peter’s signature is priceless, the Minimoog itself is valued at $7500 and was created in Moog Music’s Williamsville factory in the mid-1970s. Kent Spong Restorations, which has three decades of experience in the business and has worked with clients like Hans Zimmer and Vangelis, restored the Minimoog.
The Minimoog raffle began on October 7, 2024, and will continue until midnight on October 28, 2024. Anyone interested in participating can purchase tickets for $25 each or in bundles of five for $100, 12 for $200, or 35 for $500. Money from the raffle will go towards funding Dr. Bob’s Soundschool, the Bob Moog Foundation Archives, and the Moogseum.
